Sweet Jaggery rice is a local dessert of Kullu eaten during community meals and festivities. The recipe is:
Ingredients:
1. Jaggery 200g
2. Rice 1/2 cup
3. Sweet Fennel 1.5 tsp
4. Black pepper 10-12
5. Clarified butter 1 cup
6. Grated coconut 4 tbsp
7. Dry fruits. 50g each

Recipe:
1. Cook the rice in a pressure cooker.
2. Form a sweet syrup of the jaggery.
3. Heat a bowl shaped frying pan and add Clarified butter and let it heat.
4. Add sweet fennel and black pepper in the pan and stir well.
5. Now add the rice to the pan and
Stir it again.
Stir it again.
6. Finally add the jaggery syrup to it and let it cook for 20 minutes.
7. The sweet rice are ready.
